About Gaut Appraisal Service

Most real estate appraisers appraise residential property only. John Dudley is qualified to appraise not only residential property, but commercial, farm and ranch land, relocation service, and eminent domain.

Gaut Real Estate Agency was orginally founded by JR Gaut in 1899. The company provided real estate services in the Texas Panhandle. By 1950 the Gaut Agency provided real estate, Insurance and Real Estate Appraisal Services. Royce Gaut, the son of JR Gaut, founded Gaut Appraisal in 1956. In 1975 John B. Dudley began as an apprentice under Royce Gaut, his wife's grandfather.

In 1980, John B Dudley SRA took over operations of the company. John is now owner and operator of Gaut Appraisal. Gaut Appraisal still services the entire Texas Panhandle and provides Real Estate Appraisal for both residential and commercial properties, including Brokerage Services.

Education

Graduated from New Mexico Military Institute. Graduated from University of Oklahoma- BS 1973. Senior Residential Appraiser Designation- 1979.
